Hampta Pass is one of the most dramatic crossover treks in Himachal Pradesh. In just a few days, the landscape changes completely. You begin among green forests and lush meadows of the Manali region and eventually cross into the barren, high-altitude landscapes of Lahaul. The biggest attraction is the dramatic transformation of scenery after crossing Hampta Pass. One moment you’re walking beside green valleys and waterfalls; the next you’re surrounded by rocky mountains and the stark landscapes of the Trans-Himalaya. The addition of Chandratal makes the experience even more memorable.
